Morning Description

 

In Literacy I wrote a morning description (This is Fiction) and then when I finished I put it into this translater 2.0 thing and it made it into Shakespeare writing, the top shows the english we speak today and the writing below shows the englished Shakespeare used back in the 1600s.

My Most Extraordinary Day

 For one of our Literacy tasks we did a description/a recount on one of our most extraordinary days, I really enjoyed writing this so I hope you enjoy it to!. 

Attack On Titan Book Cover

 Today is the second day of high school week and for our 1st literacy task today we made a book/manga cover of our favourite book, I based my book of Aot also known as Attack On Titan, it is a very famous anime and I really enjoy.

The anime is made in manga (Manga is basiclly a comic except anime) and it is one of my favourites so thats why a chose it for my blog post hope you enjoy! :D.

Womens Right To Vote

 This week Glen Taylor is doing something called "High School Week" throughout the week we experience the life of high school, in the morning we started with a literacy task and this blog is my activity 2 and the questions are...

Write about what you think about the fact women were not allowed to vote in Saudi Arabia until 2015. Is it fair? why or why Not?

In my opinion I think that it was not fair because women should have the same rights as men and we are all human and equal, we should not base someone off of gender, looks or a disability, that is what I think anyway.

       

St Joseph's Catherdral

 

St Joseph's Cathedral is located on 43 Wyndham Street in Auckland, This breathtaking building was contructed in May 1887. St Joseph's Catherdral took up to 9 years to be built (and its still incomplete).

Film Festival

 

On Wednesday 11th 2020 GTS had a trip down to the silvia park cinamas to watch all the Manaiakalani films, in this picture if u look closely you can see someones knee to my left that was my buddy from room 3 but he didn't get in the picture. We all were sitting down for a while waiting for the school that was inside to leave, they finally did and then we made our way up the steps and went inside the movie room and found our seats.

A Message From Geln Taylor School

For the 2020 Manaiakalani film festival students in my class named: Tracey, Fiana, Syc, Wint, Paris and this film looked very tricky to make however what was tricky for me was that I wasn't able to finish my film on time. 

This film was filled with very kind quotes and it looks like they put much effort and though into this film.  I really liked the camera shots and the edits they did, it must have taken a long time to get everyone to agree to do this film and find the spot to record. 

Fun Run

 Last week all the seniors and the top 10 yr6's went to a race called "Fun Run" it was really fun but also tiring, I want to do the fun run again. I also liked fun run a lot because we got a sausage sizzle and water at the end.

The Ghostly Shadow

 

R11 had an image and we had to do a quick write on it, this is my quick write of the image, the setting was looked like a road with tree's going straight down it and fog filling up the area.

Daily 5 God Of Highschool

R11 have started to do daily 5 a lot more than before, when it is daily 5 I usaully read a book called G.O.H also known as God Of Highschool, it is a really good book/manga and I recommend reading it, right now I am up to episode 40.

Friendship explanation writing (Test Draft)

For an up and coming writing test R11 did a explanation writing practice which was based on friendship,  This was very fun to make and really good practice of the explanation test, I tried my best with this draft and I hope I can get a very high score. 

 

Matariki - Calendar

On this image shows the 4 seasons I have translated them from Moari into English this was for our Matariki task to created a calendar. It was sort of hard to translate these but in the end I got it so enjoy the finished product 👍. 

Matariki - 7 Sisters Description

Today I made a Description about the 7 stars of Matariki that appear in the sky once a year, did you know that Matariki is happening this week too! make sure you try find the 7 stars glittering the night sky it may be hard to see but if you look very hard there is a change you may come across it.

Steampunk project

So for out last week of tech Sir Aka Mr. Grundy said to sketch out something steampunk, we then finished up for the session and then I got to work and with the help of my grandpa we made this steampunk top hat with flip goggles at the front.

Today I made a google drawing and then solved my math question for today that Glen Taylor School's amazing principal and deputy principal created for us.

Today for my LCS task I  did a quick write story about using a picture of a sad guy. I tried my best and I hope you all enjoy :)

Today I did a fun Summer Learning Journey activity and I had to code. I could only get up to the 5th stage I got confused but it was actually really fun.
